About Us
INARA Sanctuary is a wellness sanctuary in Singapore dedicated to helping people reconnect with their bodies, breath, and sense of self through assisted stretching, mindful movement, and holistic bodywork.
At INARA, wellbeing is never treated as a single fix or a single technique. Our sessions bring together assisted stretching, yoga, breathwork, Qigong and somatic movement, tailored to how your body and mind are feeling on any given day. We believe physical tension is often connected to stress, emotions and lived experience — so our work addresses the whole person, not just tight muscles.
Every session is guided by a trained specialist who listens first, then adapts pace, pressure and technique to what you need — whether that's mobility, recovery, or simply a space to slow down.

Founder of Inara Sanctuary

Irene Tan — Buah Meditasi, Bali
For Irene Tan, wellbeing has always been about more than how the body moves. It is about how we feel within it.
Her journey began with yoga. A certified yoga instructor, Irene has been teaching since 2015, developing a deep appreciation for mindful movement, breath, and body awareness.
She went on to spend more than eight years with Dr. Stretch, working closely with clients through assisted stretching and movement. Those years of hands-on experience gave her an intimate understanding of the body, but also revealed something deeper: physical tension does not always exist in isolation. Stress, emotions, lifestyle, and our lived experiences can all influence the way we breathe, move, and feel.
This understanding gradually shaped the direction of her work.
Seeking to explore the deeper connection between body, breath, and emotional wellbeing, Irene trained as a Trauma Healing and Breathwork Facilitator under Edwin Tan at Buah Meditasi in Bali. Together with her practice of Qigong, yoga, and somatic bodywork, these experiences shaped a more integrated and compassionate approach to wellness.
And from this journey, Inara Sanctuary was born.
Inara is Irene's vision of a sanctuary where people do not come simply to be stretched or "fixed", but to be supported as a whole person.
A space to slow down.
A space to breathe.
A space to reconnect.
At the heart of Inara is a simple philosophy:
Through Inara, Irene brings together assisted stretching, mindful movement, yoga, breathwork, Qigong, and genuine human connection to create experiences that support both physical and emotional wellbeing.
Her philosophy remains beautifully simple: the body carries its own wisdom. Sometimes, we simply need to create the space to listen.
INARA Sanctuary is located at 83A Kampong Bahru Road, Singapore. Our space is designed to feel calm and unhurried — a place to step away from the noise of daily life and give your body the attention it deserves.
We don't focus on stretching alone — we support the whole person, integrating movement, breath and genuine human connection into every session.
Our founder and team bring years of hands-on experience across assisted stretching, yoga, breathwork and Qigong to every session.
From a no-commitment trial session to curated packages and membership, INARA meets you wherever you are in your wellness journey.
Every session at INARA is guided by a trained specialist who leads you through assisted stretching, mindful movement and breathwork practices, adapting pace and pressure to what your body needs that day.
