A Trauma-Informed Approach to Wellness
Being trauma-informed means our specialists pay close attention to consent, pacing and comfort throughout every session - it is a wellness approach we bring to our work, not a medical or mental-health treatment.
This page describes an approach woven through our sessions, rather than a separately bookable session on its own.
What trauma-informed means at INARA
A trauma-informed approach means our specialists check in with you, explain what's happening in a session, and adjust pace or pressure based on how you respond - always with your consent.
This isn't a separate programme you book; it's a way of working that runs through our assisted stretching, breathwork and movement sessions.
What this is not
This approach is not medical care, psychotherapy, trauma treatment or a diagnostic service. We do not diagnose, treat or claim to resolve trauma or any medical or mental-health condition.
If you're seeking medical or mental-health treatment, we encourage you to speak with a qualified healthcare provider. Our role is to offer a considerate, body-aware wellness experience alongside that care, not in place of it.
Who it's for
- Clients who want extra attention paid to consent, pacing and comfort during sessions
- Anyone who prefers to be guided gently rather than pushed
- Clients already working with a healthcare provider who also want supportive wellness sessions
What to expect
- Clear communication before and during your session about what to expect
- Pacing and pressure adjusted based on your feedback
- A calm, unhurried environment across our assisted stretching, breathwork and movement sessions
What makes it different
- Consent and communication are built into how every session is delivered
- Framed honestly as a wellness approach, not a clinical or therapeutic service
- Woven through our existing sessions rather than sold as a separate programme
